As with aromatherapy, reflexology will help you to wind down and ease away the stresses and strains of everyday life. Stress plays an ever-increasing role in determining the state of our health. Stress manifests itself in many forms, headaches, migraines, insomnia, backache, stomach upsets. Reflexology will bring a calmer state to your body and you may find that as a result some of the niggles dissipate. You should, after only a few treatments, begin to achieve a more balanced mind, body and spirit.
The treatment includes a gentle massage and pressure reflex points are worked, finishing with a relaxation massage to leave you feeling light and ‘floaty’ (as quoted by a client). It is recommended that you start a treatment plan with 3 x weekly sessions and then extend your visits to bi-weekly, with the view of moving to a monthly maintenance plan. This is a guide, some clients pop in for a treatment as and when they feel they need it – which could be weekly, monthly or even every 6-12 months. Treatment plans are adapted to suit you, your health & well-being needs and your budget.
